Life sometimes is funny... We have a nanny since Francisco was born. She is from a village near Manilla, and the first thing we planned was to come to the Philippines with her. The day before we left Manila, very early in the morning we started our way to her house, expecting a 4 hour trip and surprisingly it only took us 1h30, so we arrived way too early. Michelle is like family to us and for the kids a second mother so it was a joy to get to know all her family. We felt immediately at home were treated to a fantastic lunch (we even brought leftovers for dinner).

1 a.m. local time...
Kids: "Good morning!"
Us: "Go back to sleep, it's middle of the night"
Kids: "we want breakfast, we've slept already"
Jet lag won... no one got any sleep during the night!
We went to the Pambata Museum, great for kids. After this experience we hope that when we suggest going to a museum they don't roll their eyes!
We all took a long nap and spent the afternoon in Rizal Park, of course we got lost on the way home and had to walk for miles, the kids really were troopers and didn't complain.
Disaster of the day:
I was carrying Teresinha when I fell flat on the floor, on a really dirty poodle, disgusting! She is without a scratch and I have a damaged foot and knee (nothing serious)... It's going to hurt when I go into the sea in a few days!
O jet lag ganhou... ninguém dormiu nada durante a noite!

Desastre do dia:
Vai doer quando me meter no mar daqui a uns dias!
